Uptown Team
The Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute was founded by Rich Silliman in 2000. It is the oldest private practice in the DFW metroplex. After completing a Movement System Impairment Syndrome curriculum at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO under Dr. Shirly Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA, a one year residency program in manual therapy in San Antonio and a nationally recognized osteopathic manual therapy residency program under Phillip Greenman, DO at Michigan State University, Rich felt there was a need for an improved model of physical therapy care in the DFW metroplex. Rich also developed a strong biomechanical treatment approach and sport specific rehabilitation programs during this time. This model of care is used to treat both spine and upper/lower extremity conditions and provides a unique and highly successful model of physical therapy care for complex patients.

Rich Silliman
PT, MS
Originally from Iowa, Rich Sillman received his Bachelor’s Degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA. He played Division III football and baseball. After sustaining a major shoulder injury in baseball, Rich was introduced to physical therapy and began to pursue a career in the field. See Full Bio.
Josh Buis
DPT
Josh received his Bachelor’s in Education in Health Sciences from Baylor University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has participated in extensive post-graduate coursework in the field of manual therapy.
Hannah Settles
DPT
Hannah received both her Bachelor's and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Harding University. Since graduating in 2021, she has received her certification in Dry Needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. See Full Bio.

Office Administrator
Bibiana is a certified medical office administrator with two years of experience. As a bilingual front office coordinator, she has worked in a variety of fields such as ENT, radiology & physical therapy. See Full Bio.
Scott Cloud

Scott is a native of Louisiana and attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he received his B.S. degree in biology in 1988. Scott received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1991. See Full Bio.

Paul began his career in rehabilitation in 1990 with the Dallas Spine group. Early in his career, he participated in exercise physiology courses at a local community college and eventually received his massage therapy license in 1994. See Full Bio.

Meg has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and is a Registered Massage Therapist. Meg joined Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy as our Front Office Coordinator in 2014. See Full Bio.

John received his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2016 where he played college baseball for 3 years. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health and Science Center in 2019. See Full Bio.
